We recently came across this sustainable brand based on the beautiful Isle of Harris on the Outer Hebrides – and fell for its lovely design and clever idea.

Harris Distillery infuses its gin with sugar kelp, hand-gathered from local lochs, to give it a pleasing botanical kick.  And its spiral-glass bottles are much too lovely to chuck out, so they’ve introduced a refill subscription service which sends you a monthly 500ml aluminium refill bottle (easily recyclable and with a low carbon footprint) – slightly smaller than the glass bottle, as it is intended as a top up so you never run out. Win-win.
